学校背景

 华南师范大学附属外国语学校是一所由华南师范大学与广州岭南同文教育投资管理有限公司联合创办的民办学校。

华南师范大学始建于1933年，是一所学科门类齐全的国家“211工程”重点建设大学和广东省省属重点大学。作为基础教育理论和实践创新相结合的基地，华南师大创办了附幼、附小、附中（含初中、高中），并取得卓越的办学成果。华师附外是华南师范大学在基础教育国际化研究领域的一次重要实践。

广州岭南教育集团是广东领先、全国知名，集幼儿教育、基础教育、中等和高等职业教育为一体的国际化教育集团。集团经过21年的发展，已建成优美的国际化校园，并积累了丰富的国际教育经验和资源。广州岭南同文教育投资管理有限公司是集团子公司，专注于实施集团的国际化战略。

Background

The FLS is a private school co-founded by Guangzhou Lingnan Tongwen Education Investment Limited Company and South China Normal University (SCNU).

Founded in 1933, SCNU now is a comprehensive university. It is listed in the 211 Project and is a provincial key university. SCNU is a base for primary and secondary that combines innovation and practice. It has established its affiliated kindergarten, primary school and junior high school and been known for remarkable achievements. FLS is an important practice of SCNU in the field of basic education internationalization research.

Guangzhou Lingnan Education group is a leading education group in Guangdong and it is also well known throughout China. The Group provides kindergarten education, basic education, secondary and advanced vocational education. After 21 years of development, it has built a beautiful internationalized campus and accumulated abundant experience and resources of international education. Guangzhou Lingnan Tongwen Education Investment Limited Company is a subsidiary company, concentrating on the implementation of international strategies of the Group.

Our Mission

We spare no effort to localize international education in China, taking a lead in the internationalization of the primary and secondary education in China.

SCNUFL will endeavor to cultivate students that are graceful and intelligent. They would be knowledgeable and elegant students with outstanding foreign language ability and innovative mind. Meanwhile, they are also international citizens that are healthy and happy, responsible and caring.

SCNUFL will become an incubator for international education professionals, including local and foreign teachers, experts and education managers .

我们的师资

华南师范大学外国语言文化学院组织一支具有专业权威性的教研团队，担任华师附外的课程与教学的顶层设计、过程指导、质量监控及教师团队的建设与培训。

学校精细选择老师、组建队伍，力求打造一支数量充足、结构合理、有职业理想、爱岗敬业、专业水平高、充满活力的教师队伍。学校按照外国语学校师资标准配备中外专职教师，并通过华师的支持和培训，引进高水准的教师。

Our Teachers

School of Foreign Language and Culture under South China Normal University organizes a professionally authoritative scientific research team that provides top-level design on curriculum and teaching, procedural guidance, quality monitoring as well as building and training of its teaching body.

We have been handpicking teachers and building a teaching team and striving to forge a reasonably structured, dedicated, high-standard and zealous teaching body with sufficient teachers carrying professional ideals. The school assigns Chinese and foreign full-time teachers following criterions for language school and introduces high-standard teachers with the backup and cultivation of South China Normal University. 

国际交流平台

创建依托英国牛津大学教育系EMI研究中心的EMI课程实验基地。

建立剑桥TKT教师资格考试培训示范基地，推动整个华南地区外语教育人才的进步和发展。

 广泛展开同北京、上海、台湾、香港、新加坡等外国语学校和国际化学校的交流、访问，共同研究、探索和实施IB（国际文凭项目）在中国的应用、与国际的对接。

学习欧美国家科技化教学、人性化环境，并同英国、美国、澳大利亚、加拿大等发达国家保持密切的合作交流。

International Exchange

We established an EMI curriculum experimental center in accordance with the standard of the Department of Education Research Center of Oxford University.

We will establish a demonstration base for Cambridge TKT qualification so as to promote the development of English teachers in South China.

We will develop exchange programs with schools in Beijing, Shanghai, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore, etc., so as to research on the implementation of International Baccalaureate (IB) in China and around the world.

We learn from EU and US schools in areas as technology-base teaching and students-friendly environment. We maintain close ties with schools in the UK, US, Australia and Canada, etc.

世界课堂 International Education
